
The General Education Center of National Formosa University, in collaboration with the Wanlong Management Lecture Series and the National Formosa University Alumni Association, invited Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Li-shan to deliver a special lecture on October 1, 2025, as part of the general education series. The lecture was titled "Promising a Sustainable Future for Yunlin."
During the lecture, County Magistrate Chang shared Yunlin County's vision and concrete actions in promoting sustainable development. She demonstrated how the local government combines local characteristics to create a sustainable Yunlin that balances economy and ecology, covering multiple dimensions from environmental protection and industrial upgrading to social inclusion.
The teachers and students present responded enthusiastically, with students actively posing questions and interacting with the County Magistrate, fostering a lively atmosphere.
Through this lecture, teachers and students not only gained a deeper understanding of sustainable development practices but also recognized the potential for local government and the younger generation to collaborate in co-creating the future.
