On Tuesday, December 12, the General Education Center of National Formosa University held the opening ceremony for the "8th General Education Expo." With the theme “Global Action, Local Integration,” the expo integrated the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with academic knowledge (ology) as its core concept, “SDGsology,” showcasing the achievements of 17 general education courses. The event also unveiled the public art collective creation by NFU students, “A Feast to Take Away,” demonstrating students’ combined humanities and technological literacy.

NFU President Zhang Xinliang stated that NFU’s general education promotes students’ engagement with local industry mentors through diverse perspectives and rich creativity. By treating the UN Sustainable Development Goals as both a field of study and a way of life, students are encouraged to cultivate and practice autonomous action, communication, social participation, as well as reflection and innovation, aligning with international trends.
