National Formosa University's General Education Center hosted a general education lecture on October 2, 2025, specially inviting renowned mouth and foot painter Ms. Yang En-dian to deliver a speech. Ms. Yang shared her personal life experiences, conveying the spirit of "bravely facing challenges and not surrendering to fate," deeply moving the teachers and students present and creating a warm and touching atmosphere.
On the day of the lecture, teachers and students collectively participated in the charity event, purchasing 10 copies of Ms. Yang En-dian's book, "The Invisible Hand," for a total of NT$8,400. All proceeds from the charity sale were donated to the "Kaohsiung Christian Mountain Children's Home," providing tangible support for social welfare and spreading love.
National Formosa University stated that it is hoped this lecture will enable teachers and students to learn courage and perseverance from Ms. Yang En-dian's life story, transforming this inspiration into a force for helping others, and thus embodying the general education spirit of "unity of knowledge and action, and caring for society."
