Since the 2009 academic year, the university no longer processes promotion reviews for part-time faculty. Reviews are conducted only for degree-related evaluations.

Eligible candidates for part-time faculty applying for “Appointment at One Rank Higher”:

Option 1: Those who have already obtained a Ministry of Education teaching certificate at another university may apply for appointment at one rank higher (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor).

Option 2: Part-time lecturers who have obtained a doctoral degree may apply for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank.

Effective date of appointment:

If the third-level faculty evaluation is completed before the semester begins (July 31 / January 31), the appointment may start from August 1 / February 1.

If the third-level faculty evaluation is completed after the semester begins (August 1 / February 1), the effective date of appointment will be the date on which the appointment procedure is officially approved.

After teaching at the Assistant Professor rank for four semesters, one may apply for the Ministry of Education Assistant Professor certificate in the fifth semester. The external review fees shall be borne by the faculty member.

The workflow is provided in the attachment. Eligible candidates should submit all required documents to the General Education Office by April 15 or October 15 each year.
